Clowes Fund Grantmaking in 2011 

The Clowes Fund awarded more than $2.4 million to 58 nonprofit organizations in 6 states. New grants approved include $1,308,000 in New England, 498,500 in New England (primarily greater Boston), $887,500 to Indianapolis area organizations, and $165,000 in Seattle. As of September 2011, the Fund had 99 active grants in 8 states totaling almost $6 million.  Total payout for 2011 equals over $2.2 million for the 2011 calendar year.
