Indianapolis Summer Youth Program Fund

What is the Summer Youth Program Fund?

The Summer Youth Program Fund (SYPF) is a collaborative effort among local funders supporting the programs of youth-serving agencies in Marion County, Indiana.  The goal of SYPF is to make it easier for nonprofits to secure funding by having a common application.  Many of these organizations have small staffs and this collaborative effort frees their time to focus on youth programs by eliminating the duplication of effort in applying separately to each foundation.

How is The Clowes Fund involved?

The Clowes Fund has been a funding partner of the Summer Youth Program Fund since 2002. It is our desire to make it more efficient for local nonprofits to obtain the necessary funds for their summer programs. If you have received funding in the past from The Clowes Fund for your summer programs, please apply through SYPF rather than directly to The Clowes Fund. If you are not registered with SYPF this year, we encourage you to pursue that opportunity next summer. Previous funding neither guarantees nor precludes future funding.

The Clowes Fund will accept only one funding request from any single grant partner during any calendar year.

Who are the other funding partners?

The following local funders comprise the SYPF partnership:
